Cotswold Stud is the home of our beautiful Shetland Ponies.

The stud was established in 1967 and over the years we have imported many quality ponies with excellent bloodlines that have built a great foundation for our stud, and future Shetland pony breeding in New Zealand.

We breed for excellence, good confirmation, solid bone and friendly temperament, we love the true working type Shetland up to full height, ponies that you would be proud to own, to suit all disciplines.

We have Stallions at stud and ponies for sale occasionally.

Our stud is situated at Motukarara in the foot hills of Banks Peninsula.
