Stoney Croft Stud was established in Dunedin in 1998 when we purchased Cotswold Brier Rose who became our foundation mare.
Our Shetland Pony involvement shifted up a gear when we moved to our Fernside property in North Canterbury in 2003. We were then able to enjoy showing and achieved some remarkable results for a young stud.

Choisya Fairfax was our first and very successful Stallion joined by Cotswold Royal Ensign. Ensign (Ed) went on to win the 2009/10 NZSPBS Sires Rating. We still hold a share in both these stallions and are proud of the foals produced for our Stud and outside mares.
